Young Jewish scholars arriving from the UK When Leah has a mysterious seizure Maja fears that their romance might be cut short and decides to follow Leah back to her home in London. There, Maja meets her new neighbor downstairs. Which is Shana, Leah’s mother. Seems pious and highly secretive. It seems to resist all of Maja’s attempts to win her heart. And when Maja notices strange happenings in the building, she begins to suspect that Shana’s secret may be much darker than she thought.
